Have you ever created a mini album all about a road trip or a vacation? How did it go? What was your process? Did you take notes as you went, collection ephemera, save receipts, and remember the little details when it was time to write it all down? I have a really bad memory, so waiting until after the trip always means forgetting some of the details and the funny little moments that I wish I could remember. So I’m going to try something new this summer – I made the album BEFORE we hit the road.
This is a peek at the cover:
And a few of the inside pages:
These pages are kind of a “daily summary” for each day of the trip.
And these are pocket pages, for receipts and other items I want to save…and there’s room for photos too!
There are a lot more pages included in the album, but unfortunately, I can’t share all of them here today. I wrote an article about my album and included lots of pages, ideas, and tips for creating an album to take along with you and put together “as you go.” The article was published in the latest issue of Create: Mini Albums.
What do you think of this idea? Would you consider making an album BEFORE an event such as a vacation? I’d love to hear what you think!
