Cards Blog Challenge: March 2013

We’re back with the March CARDS Blog Challenge! The lucky winner of this challenge will be receiving an amazing prize package from Market Street Stamps. You won’t want to miss a chance at this prize, so we hope you’ll be participating!
Market Street Stamps specializes in high-quality photopolymer stamps. Other than the excellent quality, one of the most delightful thing you’ll notice about their stamps is that they have a pink/peachy hue to them. I love being able to pick my Market Street Stamps out easily when flipping though my collection! The stamps stamp like a dream, leaving you with a clear, beautiful impression every time. This month, we’re giving you some extra time to create your beautiful cards! I’m currently enjoying my sweet baby who arrived a few days ago, and will need a little extra time to enjoy looking through your submissions. (I hope this means even more of you will have time to participate!)
Challenge Rules:
1. Leave a comment with a direct link to your card, or submit an image of your card to hannah@northridgepublishing.com by March 29th.
2. Our favorite cards will be featured and the winner of the Market Street Stamp prize pack will be announced on April 2nd.
This month’s challenge is a based on the color scheme above. A medium pink, soft lavender, and light yellow make the perfect color combo for spring and Easter. The inspiring card below is by Angelica Suarez, owner of Market Street Stamps.

Challenge: Show Me Something Round!
I am drawn to basic shapes. Perhaps it’s because I have a freshly graduated first grader, but I love squares, rectangles, and especially circles. Circles on a layout give the project motion. They can be found in products such as buttons, brads, and tags. They can be found in stamped images, as a background on a pattern paper. You can even create them digitally or through a die cut machine or a punch.
This week I’d like to challenge you to add a circle to your project. Now that’s not hard at all is it?!
Here is my project using a digital template from Vinnie Pearce:

Take a photo of it or scan it and then upload it to your favorite online gallery. Then simply link us to your project within the comments section below. All entries must be posted by Sunday, July 4 by midnight MST to be included in the drawing.
