trendspotting: autumn stickers

I am so excited for Autumn to be here.  The leaves on the trees all around my neighborhood are beautiful shades of gold, orange, and red.  The air is crisp and cool in the mornings.  The sunsets are early and gorgeous.  I love driving through the canyon and surrounding myself with the beautiful scenery.  ahhhh, Autumn.  Here’s my ode to Autumn - sticker style:

trendspotting: birthday fun!!!

Good Monday morning, friends!  Today is a special day – not only is it a beautiful Monday morning, it’s also a national holiday here in the US – Labor Day – a day to celebrate all of the hard workers who made America such a wonderful country.  But it’s an extra special day in my home.  My oldest son will celebrate his 13th birthday and enter the world of the teenager!  Since I’ve had this special day on my mind, I thought it would be fun to have a special trendspotting day dedicated to birthdays – so here we go, lots and lots of fun birthday related items for scrapbooking, cardmaking, and more!

Trendspotting: Paper Clips

What do you think of when I say “paper clip”?  I’m guessing you’re picturing a good old-fashioned paper clip – the twisted wire type that we’ve been using in offices for decades.  As scrapbookers and paper crafters, we are always looking for fun ways to use common objects on our projects – paper clips are not only fun, but functional.  But, lucky us, we aren’t confined to using ONLY old-fashioned paper clips (though they can be fun on our projects too).  There are many manufacturers who have taken the paper clip to the next level – check out these unique clips that are available right now!

Trendspotting: Back To School

It’s hard to believe summer is winding down and the kids are getting ready to head back to school.  It makes me a little bit sad that I won’t have my four kiddos at home with me all day, but I will admit that the idea of being back on a regular schedule makes me happy.  And the opportunity to scrapbook more “back to school” photos is another thing I’m looking forward to!  So, in honor of the season, I’ve searched for some fun school-themed products to share with you today!  Here are a few of my finds:

Washi tape by Cavallini & Company:

School Days collection by Echo Park:

Rub-ons by Fancy Pants:

Stamp by Jenni Bowlin:

Wooden Rulers by Maya Road:

Stamps by Paper Smooches:

Hall Pass collection by We R Memory Keepers:

Stamps by Technique Tuesday:

Shopping for these school themed scrapbooking products was almost as much fun as shopping for school supplies (a guilty little pleasure of mine, lol)!  Do you have a favorite school themed supply you’d like to share?  We’d love to hear from you! :)
