I made some cards but I dont know how to get them on the blog.

  5. Phyllis Johnson wrote:

I sent my two pictures of my cards to that address but I don’t know if that worked. I used their paper and on one I made a cut out of an ornament with the sizzix movers and shapers and put foil behind it, and on the other I used their paper and made a birthday card with a cupcake cutout with the moveres and shapers from sizzix and put washi tape up the sides that says happy birthday. Behind I put cardstock to match the balloons.

What an awesome contest!! I lead a ladies scrap group in my community and I use the DCWV paper pads all the time! I love how all the papers coordinate without having to run all over finding matching papers! Last June, I created the My Guy Board Book for my Scraps of Faith gals. They all loved it, so I thought I would share here. The book is a ringed board book made from childrens story books! You simply cover the chipboard pages and decorate to your own theme. I wanted my book to be interactive, so I just brainstormed on what my pages would be about based on the “manly” theme. So, after I came up with my page themes I simple drew the different shapes onto spare chipboard, cut them out and covered them with more paper. I them made several interactive ways to add more pictures to our books. The result was one of my most popular class kits for the 2012 scrap year! Here is a video showing my book pages! Thanks for this opportunity and enjoy! https://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?v=231226263658323&set=o.317403881612481&type=3&theater

I used quite a few pieces from my DCWV Glitter Cardstock border stacks in both the classics and brights. I tore them right off the stack and layered them as a base for my photos and embellishments. I like the jagged edge and straight edge both being visible. Thanks for the chance to win this great prize!

This is a frilly banner I made using the DCWV Sweet paper stack. I covered chipboard banner pieces with paper from the stack and then added letters to spell sweet, ribbon, tulle, die cuts, gems, flowers, lace, chipboard embellishments, feathers, and pearls. I think it turned out very sweet. What do you think? I would love to win more paper to make more projects. Thanks for the chance to win, Monti

I made a recipe holder out of a 2×8 piece of wood. I used the Nana’s kitchen line. I first cut the wood down to 9 1/2 inches then sanded the edges. Next I painted all sides using Apple Barrel paint. While it was drying I cut my main piece of paper to 6 x 12 inches, and my second pieces to 3 1/2 x 12 inches. I also fussy cut around the mixer and flour and sugar designs. I cut this fussy cut piece down to 9 1/2 inches. After the paint dried I used Mod Podge to glue the paper to the wood. Next, I sanded around the edges to give it a finished look. I put a layer of Mod Podge on top of the paper to seal everything. When that was dry I glued a miniature clothespin I bought from Walmart and died brown by boiling it with tea bags. I then added the finishing bow with wired ribbon I bought from Hobby Lobby. I added a recipe card using left over paper and fussy cut around an apron from one of the pieces of paper I had left over as well. This is my simple project that will make a great Christmas gift for my sister! I hope you try it out and you can make one for holding pictures too. Thank You for the contest
